Scholarship Applications Being Accepted

With costs rising all around us in a tight economy, it is likely any college student would welcome some "free money" to help fund their studies. And AANR-Florida is prepared to help!

Each year two scholarships of $1,500 are available to deserving members of any age enrolled at least half-time in a degree-seeking program at any accredited two year or four year college. To be eligible, the student must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and have been a practicing nudist for at least the last 20 months.

AANR Seeks Nominations for Officer, Trustees

This coming year there will be plenty of opportunity for you to step up and show your support for AANR in a whole new way. Take the initiative and make a difference in your life and the lives of our members.

This year AANR is seeking qualified candidates for AANR President, AANR Vice President, AANR Secretary/Treasurer, Club Trustees and Member Trustees.

Deadline for nominations is March 15. Nomination forms are available at www.aanr.com. Log into the Member Section and find all the necessary documents under the Download the Biannual Election Forms and Guidelines.

Decide what position to run for. All positions require that you be a voting member of AANR in good standing for at least a year. Each position has additional requirements:

• Member Trustee:
• Member of the region you plan to represent
• Cannot be part of an AANR Charter Club's management team (or spouse)
• Served region as an elected official for one year
• Endorsement from at least 10 AANR voting members
• Club Trustee:
• Must be part of an AANR Charter Club's management team (or spouse)
• Endorsement from three club officers
• President and Vice President:
• Two years as a voting member immediately prior to seeking nomination
• Minimum of two years as an elected AANR or regional official or member of AANR or regional board
• Endorsements from three people who are part of an AANR Club management team
• Endorsements from at least 10 AANR voting members
• Secretary/Treasurer:
  
  • Two years as a voting member, in good standing, of AANR
  • Endorsements from three people who are part of an AANR Club management team
  • Endorsements from at least 10 AANR voting members

The sooner you get yourself on the Ballot for Election, the sooner you can start promoting yourself by creating a candidate profile that will be shared with all our voting members.
